This is a poem that I made, that probably fits more than a couple of your characters.
I live in a dark place,
that little corner of my mind
where everything is black
always the darkest shade of grey
I live in a dark place
where people constantly die
Wars are constantly started
and no two lovers are ever spared
I live in a dark place
That corner of my mind
where everyone is condemed
not one person is saved
all in one spiral of doom
bound to engulf them all in blackness
as cold as the new sun
unsaveble
I live in a dark place
be glad you dont too
for if you did
and understood why i do what i do
you would do those things too
and then you would see the world as i do
an endless abyss
a spiriling black hole
and see the people as i do
frightened
gullible
cold hearted and malicious
