Aleksandr was born to a middle-class Russian family. He grew up around his father, a teacher turned comedian by night. He developed his father's sense of humor and witty personality, a trait that often got him in trouble at school. One day he tore a couple of boys down using his wit, defending the large Eduard Zerebriannikov in the proccess. From that day forward the two were constant friends. At 17 Aleksandr bid the 18 year old Eduard farewell as the latter set off to join the military. On his first leave Eduard was told by Aleksandr that he had planned on leaving for America since the then USSR was a communist nation and he couldn't do what he really wanted, DJ at a radio station. Eduard decided to follow his best friend and they set off to America together. They eventually wound up in Ravensburg where Aleksandr landed a job DJing the 2 most successful programs on the station.
